Dr. Sachin B. Patkar

Dr. Sachin B. Patkar is an Advisor to Powai Labs.He leverages his research and development experience from the fields of Combinatorial Optimization, Algorithms, Geometric Design and keen interest in software development in the areas of Partitioners, Solid Modeling and Geometry, Translators, Visualization Tools, Enterprise Java, XML etc. Dr. Patkar has been a consultant to several organizations in the field of EDA, Operations Research and Algorithms. He is also a fellow of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation. Currently Dr. Patkar is an associate professor of Mathematics at IIT Bombay .

He obtained B.Tech, CSE from IIT Bombay, M.Tech, CS from IIT Madras, and Ph.D, CS from IIT Bombay in 1992.
