He has been invited to speak and be a guest teacher at leading technical & business schools like IITs, IIMs, IMT Atlantique at Rennes etc.; he has also been to World Trade Organization (WTO) at Geneva, European Union Parliament and European Institute of Asian Studies at Brussels, Scottish Parliament at Edinburgh, House of Lords-Westminster at London, North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) at Paris & Brussels, United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) at Paris, Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) at Paris, United Nations (UN) at Paris, Fermilab at Chicago.

He won gold, at state level event, in cycling; and enjoys cycling to office, a distance of around ten kilometres daily. He played basketball at state level tournament; and re-crossed the world-famous Dal Lake at Kashmir, swimming a distance of 11.2 kilometres nonstop. Reapan scaled Tratakotti Peak-15,555 feet, which is one of the toughest climbs in Pir Panchal range of Himalayas; he has also climbed Mahadev Peak-13,013 feet, Gangabal-13,514 feet, Kausarnag-12,000 feet etc. He loves water-skiing, snow-skiing, horse riding, shooting etc; and practises Vipassana & Yoga. He was part of the team, that wrote the screenplay for the film, Tahaan-2008.
